The Voices of El Shaddai
Streaming Concert Coming in September
As many of you know, The Voices of El Shaddai, led and founded by our own Gail Ragland, was recently bestowed the Jean Laney Harris Folk Heritage Award by the S.C. General Assembly.
We are going to be celebrating this magnificent gospel choir group and their cultural contributions to our area with a concert — coming to a streaming device near you — in September! The concert will be filmed on our stage in late August, and streamed for our audiences, who will be able to view for free via online registration.
Culture HHI Arts Video Coming Soon!
On Monday, August 17, Arts Center’s President/CEO Jeffrey Reeves sat down with Town of Hilton Head Island’s Director of Cultural Affairs Jennifer McEwen to discuss the vibrant arts in our area.
The chat was held on the Arts Center stage, and will be aired soon in conjunction with Crescendo, an event celebrating arts, culture and history in our area. Crescendo will be a dual-faceted celebration this year: this fall, held primarily virtually with an arts festival planned later for spring.
Virtual Field Trips Coming Soon
We are excited to be offering field trips that will be held virtually for our homeschoolers as well as for school groups. While it may not be the same as having our groups in-house, we are thrilled that these productions will be coming to the Arts Center stage and then streamed to homes and schools!
Campaign for Continued Excellence
Your support has always been important, and even more so now.
We can move through this unprecedented time together! A heartfelt "thank you" for all you do for the Arts Center!
The arts brighten our spirits and nourish our souls. Consider a donation to our Campaign for Continued Excellence, an emergency fund that bridges the gap for our return to cultural arts programming.
Thank you to those who have so generously donated to the campaign!
