In this arts-integrated lesson, students will learn about the cut-paper collages of Henri Matisse while reinforcing the Science behind shadows. Students will first learn how to create a 3D figure from foil, then will cast a shadow of the manipulated figure creating a silhouette they then will use in their figurative collage.
